JS Photography was originally established in 2008, but operations were paused around 2011 as I shifted focus to my full-time career. The business has now resumed, with an expanded offering that includes both photography and videography—previously limited to still photography.
I became a true professional photographer during my college years when Capitol Records in Los Angeles licensed one of my photographs of the band OK GO for the cover of their Invincible album. Although I was young and inexperienced at the time, I gladly accepted $500 as a college student. Since then, I have contributed as a photographer to publications such as Capitol File Magazine in Washington, D.C., South Jersey Magazine, and Philly Style Magazine.
